Norvelt Elementary

About Us

Norvelt Elementary School is located in the small community of Norvelt, about five miles from Mount Pleasant. Both the school and community were named for Eleanor Roosevelt because of her extensive work in this area during the depression years. The building originally housed students in grades one through eight. Today it houses approximately 400 students in kindergarten through grade six.
